Ice That Cake With Drapes!!!

You've already got a beautiful space... but there's just a little something missing and you can't quite put your finger on it. ...
You need to Ice That Cake with Drapes!!!

Stella Before

With fantastic city views, the stunning Penthouse Apartment was home to a happy couple with a new baby. The owner knew the nursery needed some serious Icing on The Cake with Drapes.
After our consultation we knew we needed to add color(!), texture and interest.
...More importantly, morning sunlight needed to be blocked out of the room with it's eastern exposure and the drapes had to keep out cool winter drafts.

Ice that Cake with Drapes!
Choose a style that works well with your decor.
Select a fabric that drapes well with the design.
Color and fabric pattern adds interest.

Stella After

Choosing a gorgeous bubble-gum pink silk with intricate stitching details proved to introduce the "Princess Factor" that was missing in baby Stella's bedroom.
Moreover, the interlined draperies with blackout lining kept out all sunlight and stopped any potential drafts from entering the room.
The tie-backs and the inverted box pleat header were the perfect choice for these luxurious fairy-tale draperies!

Yummm-mmmy!

Growth, Stability and Abundance

Dining Room Feng Shui

The dining room is the area that allows you to relax, nourish yourself, socialize and unwind from your busy day. Create a welcoming space by choosing a solid wood dining table to encourage stability and growth within your family.

The intentional placement of a mirror will expand your space to make the room feel larger creating ease and flexibility.

Placing a mirror to reflect the dining room table attracts wealth and abundance into your home and life. Reflecting the dining table symbolizes propserity and the ability to feed yourself.

Revitalize the room by adorning your table with fresh flowers, over-flowing bowls of fresh fruit or a lavish centerpiece.

An Inspired Home Office

Transforming a Home Office

Creating an Inspired Environment in Your Home Office

The design and layout of your office space affects the success of your business.
A Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing for 25 years chose to move her office from the city center in to her home. She invited me in to create an positive environment by placing the furniture, accessorizing the room and selecting and installing window coverings.

Layering textures by placing a soft textured rug, a plush microfiber sofa, chair and silk throw cushions created a welcoming space for her patients to feel safe and comfortable.
Introducing a complimentary color scheme with apple green and burnt orange silk cushions offered a sense of a well designed space.
You can transform your office just like I did this one by adding:
  • soothing (yet functional)lighting
  • invigorating natural plants
  • water elements
  • correct positioning of academic accreditation's
  • calming yet interesting artwork
  • positive placement of desk in command position

Your home office should be comfortable, accessible and practical. Combining Feng Shui with design principals will create an office space that is a professional, welcoming and supportive to both you and your client.

yay!
